Set Relay Configuration

The Relay Configuration tab is used to:

  • Select the relay mode.

  • Create the relay tooltip to be displayed in the GlobalViewer® interface.

  • Create the relay Open label to be displayed in the GlobalViewer interface.

  • Create the relay Close label to be displayed in the GlobalViewer interface.

To configure an IPI 201 or IPI 204 relay:

  1. From the Mode drop-down list in the Relay Configuration section, select the desired mode.  Options include:

  2. Open/Close - 2 Push Button

  3. Toggle - 1 Push Button

  4. Pulse - 1 Push Button

If Open/Close - 2 Push Button is the selected mode, then:

  1. In the Tooltip field, enter the desired tooltip.

  2. In the Open Label field, enter a unique Open label.

  3. In the Close Label field, enter a unique Close label.

If Toggle - 1 Push Button is the selected mode, then:

  1. In the Tooltip field, enter the desired tooltip.

  2. In the Toggle label field, enter a unique Toggle label.

Note:  This button refers to the button that appears in GlobalViewer to represent the relay.

If Pulse - 1 Push Button is the selected mode, then:

  1. In the Tooltip field, enter the desired tooltip.

  2. In the Pulse Label field, enter a unique Pulse label.

  3. In the Pulse Time field, enter the desired pulse time (0.1 to 1310.7 seconds).

Note:  This button refers to the button that appears in GlobalViewer to represent the relay.
