Preset Preview/RecallSee topics, Preset Save, and Preset Overview, for more information. A preset can be previewed in either Live or Emulate mode by selecting the preset from the Presets drop-down list in the menu bar. In Live mode, the DSP Configurator program is reading the preset marks from the device. In Emulate mode, the program is accessing presets contained in the current configuration file. In this preview state, changes cannot be made to any element within the DSP Configurator. In Live mode, real-time changes to the Current State will not be reflected in the DSP Configurator while in this preview state. After a preset is selected from the Presets drop-down list, the program indicates to the user that a preset configuration is being previewed by displaying the preset elements that will be affected by a preset recall with a translucent mask over the element. Elements without a translucent mask represent elements in the Current State (Live mode) or Current Emulation (Emulate mode) that will be unaffected by a preset recall. To preview and recall a preset: 1. Select a preset from the Presets list. Elements contained in the preset are indicated by a translucent mask. 2. To preview only (and not recall), click Cancel. 3. Click Recall to apply the preset to the Current State of the device, at which point the preset reverts to "Current State." In Emulate mode, the preset reverts to "Current Emulation." |
