Extron Introduces Unique CLK 100 LCD Clock with Thermometer for System Integrators

Anaheim, California (September 9, 2005) - Extron Electronics is pleased to introduce the unique CLK 100 LCD Clock with Thermometer, a compact, battery-operated clock with an integrated thermometer that is ideal for monitoring the ambient temperature within an equipment rack or room. The CLK 100 displays the date and time of day in either 12 hour or 24 hour format, and temperature in Fahrenheit or Centigrade. It is housed in a professional, 1U, quarter rack width metal enclosure for easy rack mounting with other AV products, and is equally at home for desktop or shelf top use. "The CLK 100 combines time, date, and temperature on a single, easy-to-read display," says Lee Dodson, vice president of marketing for Extron. "It's one of a kind, a simple timepiece that fits into virtually any equipment rack or technical shop application." The CLK 100 features a high contrast LCD display with 0.8 inch (20 mm) character readout that is easily readable from across the room. A standard AAA battery is included with the unit. The unit's temperature sensor, mounted on the back panel, updates the thermometer display every 60 seconds.
